Stag Activities in Benidorm: Sea lion swim

One of the most popular
parks in Benidorm is Mundomar
(Seaworld). It offers its
visitors a chance to see
a wide range of marine
and exotic animals all
year round, in its 14 different
areas. From May to October,
for the animal lovers among
you, why not experience
a real close encounter
to remember and take a
swim with sea lions! If
not for the whole group,
then perhaps as a special
treat for the stag? |

Your Senor Stag guide
will meet you at your accommodation
and take you on the short
ride by public transport
to the park, which is situated
on the edge of the Sierra
Helada Natural Park. On
entering Mundomar, you
can take a leisurely stroll
around and see all sorts
of birds such as the colourful
flamingos and toucans.
There are lots more animals
to see during your visit:
monkeys, prairie dogs and
bats to
name a few as well
as of course the marine
animals. |

There are various shows
throughout the day for
you to enjoy, the dolphin
show being a must. Don’t
miss the seals & sea
lions showing off their
amazing skills or the
colourful parrots showing
that they can do a lot
more than just squawk!
Feeding time is the best
time to see a lot of
the animals at their
most active, especially
the penguins and lemurs. |

You will also be well catered for at feeding time with a choice of snacks and meals in the fast food, self service and à la carte restaurants. There is even a picnic area where you can admire the amazing view over the whole of Benidorm, it’s beautiful coastline and dramatic mountainous backdrop. |

Undoubtedly, the best
encounter of all is a
swim with the Patagonian
sea lions. We will pre-book
a specific time for you
to join these intelligent
creatures in their pool.
You will be kitted out
in a wetsuit and get
the chance to play games
and learn more about
them in the presence
of their expert keepers,
who are always happy
to answer any questions. |

Interaction lasts about
40 minutes and is best
suited to smaller groups
(approx. 8 per time slot),
which is better for you
and the Sea lions. You
will also get a couple
of souvenir photos of
you and your new found
friends! They are very
friendly and if you’re
lucky you may even get
a big kiss!! Don’t
worry we won’t
tell the wife to be! |

Dolphins (30mins) 13.30pm and
18.00pm
Sea Lions (30mins) 12noon and 16.30pm
Parrots (20mins) 11.00am, 14.30pm
and 15.30pm
